Welcome to our page, West Coast Mini Aussies!! 


Hello, we are Ryan and Mikala McGinnis raising our two awesome kiddos (Tanner, 12 and Laikyn, 5 yrs old) living on 4 acres in beautiful Prineville, Oregon.

We rescued our first Toy Australian Shepherd, Ranger in 2012 from a horrible situation. We knew little about Aussies at the time but quickly fell in love with the breed and their smarts. We got Ranger fixed soon after him joining our family as he was FAR from breeding quality.
 
In 2013 we welcomed Duke, Raven and Annie into our home after much research had been done. Welcoming our first litter Christmas time 2014.
 
  We strive to produce top quality ASDR Toy and Miniature Australian Shepherds. Our dogs are a part of our family and with many of them sleeping in our beds at night.

All of our dogs are genetically tested through Paw Print Genetics. We do not and will not breed carrier to carrier or any dog positive for Hereditary Cataracts. Our dogs are registered through American Stock Dog Registry (ASDR). 

Our puppies are raised indoors and handled daily from birth. We start potty training at 3 weeks old using the litter box method with Bedding Pellets. At 5 weeks old they get an expanded area with a crate to sleep in when they choose. They are socialized around our kids and other dogs daily.

All of our pups will be administered 2 shots while with us, be on a strict deworming schedule, tails and dewclaws removed, microchipped, final vet checked, come with a health guarantee, genetically tested parents and are sold with ASDR Limited Registration. Our pups are allowed to be sold with Full Registration if we think the pup could be show/breeding quality.
